Question 1

Why isn't my bold text displaying correctly on mobile?

Accepted Answer

Bold, italic and strikethrough use Unicode characters rather than native X formatting. Fonts and apps may display them differently. Underline and overline are simply not offered in this toolbar.

Question 2

Can I mix multiple styles in a single post?

Accepted Answer

Select a phrase and apply bold, italic or strikethrough. Organize your ideas with a list.

Question 3

Why does bold text use more of the limit?

Accepted Answer

X uses weighted counting. An ordinary Latin letter usually counts as one unit, while a styled Unicode letter can count as two. The counter recalculates after every transformation.

Question 4

How do I copy-paste without losing formatting?

Accepted Answer

Simply use the built-in "Copy" button in Boldify. It captures the transformed version of your text ready to be pasted directly into the X publication field without alteration.

Question 5

What is the MCP protocol and why use it?

Accepted Answer

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) allows Boldify to integrate directly with your favorite AI tools (like Claude). This lets you format your texts without leaving your usual writing interface.

Question 6

My MCP is not connecting, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

Check that the path to the node executable is correct in your configuration file. Also make sure you restarted your desktop app after modifying the claude_desktop_config.json file.
